Planning a Wedding Online

July 29th, 2010

Guest post from: Blaire Smith

Living in such a small town, not close to any large city, it was somewhat difficult to find the perfect wedding dress. None of the dresses in local shops were anything I would ever consider wearing, and I didn’t have the time to visit Chicago every weekend looking for dresses. I was able to use the hughes net internet service to find a few different dresses that I knew I wanted to try on. Once I had picked out these dresses, it was much easier for me to go to the shops that I knew carried them in Chicago. I even called ahead to make sure they had the dresses available before I went there and wasted my time.

The majority of my bridesmaids lived across the country from me, so I was constantly sending them emails of different dresses I liked, looking for their input. I was also able to send them several different bridesmaids’ dresses that I wanted them to consider. Since I let each of them pick out their own dress, they had a lot of fun sending me different dresses they liked. Had I not been able to use the hughes internet Ohioconnection organizing a trip to all get together to shop for dresses would have been a nightmare.

Always Using Sunblock

July 29th, 2010

Guest post of the week by Fletcher Peterson

When the summer time comes I stock up on sunblock. I have a two year old who can live in the water no matter what the temperature is outside. In the summertime I let him go out as much as possible, but not without the sun block. I keep buy the spray bottles and keep the lotion in my bag at all times. You can never be too safe when it comes to the rays of the sun. I always hear things about children who have gotten bad sun burn or have developed skin cancer simply because they did not use precautions when playing the the sun.

When I get ready for vacation and set my Florida alarm system and I make sure that before I close the door the sunblock is with me. A simple solution to saving your child’s skin is contained in one small bottle that costs less than ten dollars. No matter who makes fun of me or taunts me for smothering my child with sunblock, it is one safety tip that I will always give to every parent I meet.

See you Fourth of July.

July 29th, 2010

I never buy Gucci on regular price, I wait for the outlet sale price and when I say SALE, I mean huge SALE! The Memorial Weekend sale was not a good opportunity to buy one because the collections were limited and not one tickle my fancy. I hope any of these 2 would go on sale this Fourth of July. I am so gonna buy one maybe in this color or white.

not missing FB

July 29th, 2010

I am beginning to get tired of Facebook. All of a sudden, I lost interest updating my status and checking my friends’ status updates as well as it can get very trivial at times from rants to promoting acne treatment. Although, I make sure to always check new photos of my friends (including their status updates as well) whom I missed so dearly but other than that, I lost enthusiasm on Facebook. I have not been commenting on my friends’ status updates also. I just find it irrevelant for me to inform my 400+ friends on where I am going or what I feel, basically what are in my thoughts when I have this blog where I could air out my daily ramblings. However, I must admit that I love keeping in touch and posting photos, so that would probably stay the same. In fact, I have tons of photos to post and will find time to post them soon. There is one thing that I could not miss checking about FB, though. It’s the God Wants You To Know application. I feel like this application is God’s way of talking to me on a daily basis. It amazes me how He knows me inside and out. Like His message for me today, it hits me really hard because yes, I have been working so hard the past days that I forgot to devote quality time to meditate and reflect on His blessings. Sorry Bro, I’ll make it up to you :) .

On this day of your life, ________________, we believe God wants you to know … that your soul wants the freedom to sing, dance, love. As your body needs nourishment – food, drink, sleep, so does your soul need nourishment – sing, dance, love. Life is not all work, work is not all hard toil. Nourish your soul with the food that is right for it, for it is the altar of your own inner temple.

a pot of gold

July 28th, 2010

Have you ever heard of rare coins and gold bullions as investments? I bet you do, that is if you are a rare coin dealer or just a simple precious metals collector. US Gold Bureau happens to be the leading company in terms of dealing and supplying rare coins and silver and gold buillons. I know that some people are more comfortable investing on these rare coins rather than the typical bank deposits and stocks. The company has a wide range of investments options grading and levels which you could choose from. Other than this, you are assured of high quality and reliable rare coins and precious metals. Check out the site if you have intentions to buy gold eagle coins.

Never say Never.

July 27th, 2010

Remember what I wrote HERE??? Well, I should have not said that I am done with Longchamp because when I saw this Limited Edition Longchamp Le Pliage Eiffel Tower open tote, I could not help but think about it every single night. But I have to wait for 3 more months because I just got myself a new crystal pink GUCCI tote. Yay!

Forgive me for this early Monday drool, I just need to divert my not so nice Morning with this bag as my inspiration. Now, do not judge women who love shopping, they just need to sometimes…well, to keep them insane. Off to check prevera review.

EDITED: So yes, 2 Limited Edition Longchamp bags are coming my way tomorrow hee hee. This and another one yay!

protect your rights

July 25th, 2010

Lately, I have noticed that the field of law has become so detailed that there has been a lot of legal specialties. I mean lawyers are becoming more specialized in their fields. The first time I heard about these issues on TransUnion Class Action Lawsuit was when a dear friend was looking for someone professional to represent her case on privacy.

You see, selling private information is rampant these days and we should always know your rights and be wary that there are a lot of lawyers who can and are willing to represent your rights. Check out the site for more information on this particular legal case.
