travel whore.

March 30th, 2010

I always say to my friends that if only I have all the time and money in the world, I would spent it traveling and of course, shopping. Who doesn’t love traveling haven’t really enjoyed life. Just by the thought of traveling itself makes me giddy and excited.

It’s true what they say that experience is the best teacher while traveling and exploring other places are the best ways to experience life. I would often find myself dreaming I am working for the National Geographic Society or Discovery Channel or any jobs that would require me to get a professional travel insurance because my job requires a lot of traveling exposures.

Speaking of, my ex-boss is now a United Nations diplomat and I would often get updates from him through emails about his current travel sprees as part of his job and of course, part of the perks he gets from his job. Although, he also mentioned to me that there are days that too much business traveling can be taxing because he practically have no more time to spend on his own home. He would even get himself a permanent and more comprehensive travel insurance package from MEDEX because of the danger that his job entails. I still envy him for traveling almost every country in the world.

I truly hope that one day, DH and I will be able to travel the world leisurely. Hmm, who knows, with all the hard work we are doing right now, I know we will harvest the fruits of our labor soon.

Done with LC Le Pliage.

March 27th, 2010

One Bag Brand off my list.
LongChamp That Is! But like they always say, Never Say Never.
But for now, these 2 bags are enough for me.

This is my very first Longchamp Le Pliage bag in tan short handles and tweed material with purple specks, that’s why I bought it. I love this over my nylon-material Le Pliage.

Then this Long Handle Large Le Pliage in Garance is arriving anytime next week, I can’t wait. This is what I plan to bring in NYC.

…and so I am done. I am awaiting for the Gucci Memorial Sale in May and that’s my next bag purchase. After that? I plan to buy 2 more LVs this year and I’m done with my 2010 Purse Target :P .

Happy Weekend!

uh-oh.

First it was my CTS hurting so badly last week until now, then my vision has turned me into some old lady saying wrong colors and blurry silhouette. And now, I had to stay on a Saturday morning because I woke up feeling dizzy and light-headed. DH obviously bugged me into getting discount prescription eyeglasses after what the eye doctor told me but then again, remember my dilemma on what kind of eyeglasses to get because of my pert nose which is unable to hold an eyeglasses hee hee. So yes, I am back to my contact lens hunt!

put that in my list

March 27th, 2010

So yes, I officially requested for a 36 hour a day from Dear Lord but my Body is not willing to accept it. Yes, it was a miracle, he granted me one hee hee :P . But I refused to accept it because dear body rejected it.

Have you ever wished you have NOTHING in your to do list, but that would be extremely boring phew! But I assure you that when you start writing down your realistic targets of to do for the day, you’d actually finish all them in just a 24-hour day. The thing is, each night I have the urge to do what I need to accomplish the next day, I always end up getting all sleep and snoozy. So while I am still up and about, let me write my to do this weekend.

  1. Check car insurance companies and make a budget list for DH so he could choose easily.
  2. Track 3 Ebay purchases.
  3. Finish RM, and direct articles for write-ups.
  4. Make a new Paypal account.
  5. Review for my driving test for at least an hour.
  6. Declutter paperworks in the closet.
  7. Update Project 365.

time to change.

March 27th, 2010

Now DH has finally discovered why my HP Pavilion Laptop has gone bonkers a few days ago, it was because the fan ain’t working anymore harharhar. Blame it to my abusive usage, leaving it powered on for almost a week now because work has been extremely overwhelming. I was so scared the other day because the screen went blue and I wasn’t able to open it for a good 5 hours! Dang, so I started making back ups for my documents, photos, videos, music, etc… and then I wasn’t contented yet, I also made online backup just to be sure just in case my EHDD would go bonkers too.

So am I ready to get a new lappy? No not yet, my wallet ain’t ready for a MacBook Pro. That is what I am planning to get next time so dear HP please don’t go bonkers again while my pocket is not ready for this:

NYC inspiration.

March 27th, 2010

I finished browsing some custom mugs because I plan to give these out as gifts to my old friends who are coming to our NYC reunion, when DH blurted out that I need to start looking at magazines so I know what to wear when we go there. DH can be very tasteful when it comes to my dressing up hee hee. And yes it is my first time there and I should know what people wear when they go to NYC. Reese Witherspoon is someone I admire when it comes to streetwear and this is what she wore in one of her NYC engagements. Huh, quite simple and dainty, exactly my way of dressing :) .

Ebay!

March 27th, 2010

Yes, I am back to EBay again!
After a few months of not checking the site. DH tickled my Ebay fancy when he asked me to check this Padron cigar for his male boss. I love Ebay, no doubt. But, I should know how to control myself because EBay can be very addicting. In fact, just last week, I have already made 3 purchases. Well those are well-thought purchases and Ebay gave me very very low prices even after checking the outlet yesterday, still, Ebay has the lowest prices available. Now, I have 1 more beauty product to search from the site and I’d probably stay away from it for a few months again.

36 hours a day.

March 27th, 2010

These past few weeks, work has been extremely overwhelming. Makes me want to wish that there are 36 hours a day, but even that is not enough. My body and mind cannot take all the work anymore. All I can focus now is this Orlando vacation packages site that I saw a few hours ago. I want to take a break! A break without anything to think about except my food and food.

I guess I have to start taking vitamins again to gain endurance yikes! I always equal taking vitamins to gaining weight but as I aged, I cannot deny the fact that I indeed need one. That or my time management skills have never improved just yet.

So much for my weekend.
