Yes, #2 it is!
May 15th, 2010
Finally, both DH and I decided that it would be very healthy for DS to have DS hee hee. We are just waiting for something this year, a major leap and we’re off sending birth announcements. Well, that is if we are able to make one soon. But definitely, it is in our to do list this year, well, again, if that “major leap” pushes through

Hearing Aids and more…
May 14th, 2010
Guest post written by my friend Carl Iams
If you suffer from hearing loss, you may want to consider a hearing aid. People have different extents of hearing loss and require different solution to fit their needs. Miracle Ear features several different kinds of hearing aids. The BTE is worn behind the ear. The comfort styles (contour or semi-contour), are a bit larger but have advanced features that cannot be put into the smaller models. Last but not least, are the cosmetic hearing aids that sit in the ear canal and are almost invisible to other people. Many hearing aids are digital and this means they cost more, but it also means that these products are the latest technological innovations in hearing loss solutions. Check on the web for Miracle Ear Prices.
However, don’t get the idea that hearing products are the only innovation that older Americans are “into” these days. In fact, savvy seniors are maintain an active lifestyle these days, and most take full advantage of all the technology designed with them in mind. Today’s seniors tend to be technologically talented and many enjoy using iPods, and communicate with friends and family via texting and Instant Messages.
Seniors are also making good use of the iPhone. People use various instruments to gage their activity level when trying to maintain their weight and prevent obesity. However, these common tools may not be effective in accurately measuring the less intense movements of senior citizens. However, the iPhone has a free feature that helps senior citizens measure their exercise routines. Thee iPhone was chosen as the perfect device because it is both inexpensive and easy to obtain.
Using the basic version, the user enters his or her height and weight into the system and the iPhone monitors the individual’s score. Making a game out of exercise makes it more fun and competitive, and motivates people to exercise. The program, dubbed the “Walk n’ Play” can be can be downloaded without charge from iTunes.

maybe? maybe not!
May 10th, 2010
So yes, this very convincing raving on diet pills that a friend sent me, makes more convinced to take this shortcut! Seriously, I am going and getting there, I mean giving in. The only thing I am thinking right now is the fact that maybe, our plans of having a 2nd baby would push though by end of this year and that ain’t advisable for soon to be preggy moms right?

should I?
May 10th, 2010
Funny how at this unholy hour, I am reading the side effects of diet pill. Why? Because I am getting desperate and wanted to give in. Although, I might have lost a few inches and pounds here and there, I am still not so convinced that I am actually not on the chubby side anymore. I guess acceptance is a good thing, accepting that I am aging and therefore, my body changes too.

not one, but two, or even more.
So what is that??? My pimples!
Yes, I am that stressed out with my work that even if I haven’t had any pimple in my life nor not even tried those acne treatments because I am blessed with my mom’s good skin genes, I am wrong. I have 2 or even more pimples popping out on my face now. Yikes!

non-stop.

Seriously, the sound of my blog entries today isn’t going to be really good. Like I said, I have a long day ahead, to add to that, I need to research on insurance quotes. Thanks for user-friendly sites like 2insure4less.com, surfing and researching, even deciding would be so much easier. What I need now is perseverance that I should in fact start doing what I need to do.
Sigh, long day!

grocery day.
May 10th, 2010
I called in sick, I am too exhausted to go to work. Too much that my brain is so unprepared for everything today. That and I had to look after my almost-sick boy. Also, dear hubby and I will take advantage of this day to check the nearest grocery for some refund, I hope their barcode scanner won’t malfunctioned anymore. It’s quite a long day for me and I’m all stressed out already. I need to breathe.

I Love Horror Films!
May 9th, 2010
This is a guest post by Dumal WaontLast night we ordered “28 Weeks Later” on TVByDirect. My fiance and I had both already seen it’s prequel “28 Days Later” and we were curious to see how this one turned out.
We thought that we were prepared for the movie’s violent scenes and crazy twists, but it turns out that we were not. Straight from the beginning, this film goes from 0 to insane in literally seconds. Every other scene has regular people in impossible situations that you cannot escape. And of course this time around there are now two things that they need to worry about. Not only do they have to try and outrun the virus from before, they have to try and avoid the military that is quarantining the infected areas. The pandemic is actually so severe that the military’s plans are not too far fetched to imagine really happening in a situation like that.
Even with some of the flaws, the action-packed moments of the movie were amazing. They gave the viewer points of view from both sides, the zombies and the humans. The suspense of the film will keep you on the edge of your seat. Usually you will see the characters doing things that would never make sense to do, no matter if it’s a moment of panic or not. There were a couple of scenes that did go a bit too far, but it did not majorly effect the outcome of the movie.
To sum it all up, “28 Weeks Later” was really an incredible movie, despite being a “low budget” horror film. It had us guessing every step of the way, and the quiet scenes were packed full of suspense. This film definitely has some “jumpy” parts and some of the gory scenes are enough to make your skill crawl.
