Britney Spears Pepsi Commercial

My favorite commercial is the one Britney Spears did for Pepsi featuring Bob Dole a few years ago. I first saw it included with the previews when we went to the movie theater. Later, I saw in on Florida cable tvall of the time. The song gets stuck in your head and you can’t help but sing along. Throughout the commercial Britney is singing and dancing complete with backup dancers in a Pepsi warehouse. All of the characters watching Britney sing and dance on TV have hilarious reactions. The lady in the bowling alley tries to dance like Britney with amusing results. The Coca-Cola guys are drinking Pepsi while watching Britney. I’m pretty sure you’d get fired for that. The older gentlemen in the nursing home had to reach for his oxygen machine while watching the commercial. My favorite has to be the burger cook doesn’t notice his grill catches on fire while watching Britney and he still doesn’t notice even after the firefighters arrive, sirens and all. Bob Dole ends the commercial also watching Britney on the television. He was running for President at the time and the his appearance in the commercial was a smart move on his part, appealing to a younger generation of voters, and definitely made me like him more. It also made me want a Pepsi. I guess commercials do work.
