A Real Tailgater

September 30th, 2010

Contribution by Saul Martin

I suppose I’m kind of unique in modern tailgating in that I actually have a pickup truck, therefore I really do have a tailgate. I’ve set mine up with a smooth stainless-steel panel so that when I fold down the tailgate, I have a surface I can clean and use for food prep. Tailgating may have started with just a cooler and a few friends hanging around, but I really make it an event. Read the rest of this entry »

Ireland

September 29th, 2010

Written by my friend Betty Walls

Though I am 100% Italian, my husband and his family are from Ireland. What a match, you say? Well, you’re right, Irish and Italian is quite a combination, and as I was watching our tv service fromwww.BestChoiceTV.com one night, I thought about what a treat it would be for our family to go to Ireland and check up on his roots. September 24th, 2010

Written by Fermin Washington

My son and I love to go hiking. We usually go to Hawkins Preserve in Cortez, Colorado. It is a trail at the edge of the town not too far from our home. Even though we are not far from home I set my security alarm prior to going hiking since you just never know what can happen with out Adt house alarm companies. Read the rest of this entry »

this card game.

September 23rd, 2010

You think you can handle a game of poker? Try playing at Pokergames.org. Poker is a card game of betting and getting good hand ranking, out of a combination of 5 best cards from a deck of 52 cards. The kind of game I know is called Texas Hold ‘Em. The play includes a dealer and can be played by a maximum of up to nine players. Players starts with the same amount and value of chips at the beginning of the game to use for their betting. The small blind is always sitting on the right left side of the dealer followed by the big blind. The dealer deals two wise cards facing down to all of his players starting from the blinds, and moving clockwise. There is a minimum amount of forced bet at a 2:1 ratio, this is the big and small blinds. Read the rest of this entry »

There is no better feeling in the world then walking into your home and seeing that you made it look like a palace. By effectively combining your individuality with the task of decorating, you will allow yourself to explore a whole new realm of excitement, happiness, and adventure. I decided that using clear WiMax LA to supply me with ideas, materials, and locations for decorating my house was one of the best things I could have ever done. Read the rest of this entry »

an option

September 21st, 2010

Last night, DH was making all sorts of jokes to me as I watched TFC all night. He would tease me every time he caught me all glued up to this noontime show (being replayed at night, I guess you know what I am talking about haha!) and laughing out my hearts delight. LOL! I was dead tired from a training on finances which also include informative lecture on Bad Credit Personal Loan and I needed light TV shows, shows that would make me laugh and relax. Captain America

September 17th, 2010

I did not realize kids can have hilarious and amazing ambitions. We would often ask DS what he wants to be when he grows up, you honestly do not know how to react with his answers. He would say, taxi driver, firefighter, cops, pilot, astronaut, army doctor, etc…But, when he was asked at his Gym Class, guess what his reply was:

“I want to be Captain America!!!”
When he did not get a response, he said:
“Okay, then Spiderman!”

Okay that’s all folks!

Snow White.

September 16th, 2010

I am born with naturally fair skin, so fair that sometimes my skin looks pale. From where I grew up, having this fair skin is a plus factor in determining you are beautiful but from where I am now, uh-oh, tan is in! So when I saw these tanning bed lotions, I told dear hubby to get one for me on my birthday. Our new place comes with tanning beds and I can make use of these lotions. So yes, hello to a tanner me soon!
