on being a SAHM
December 18th, 2009
I wish I could capture Mini-Stripe whenever he begins to do his monologue. I tell you, that’s enough entertainment for me lol! He can act up to 4-6 characters with all matching actions and expressions. I will try to find a way where I could sneak and he won’t notice me taking videos because when he does, he immediately stops and would be very shy.
These are the days I am thankful for being a Stay-at-Home-Mom, nothing beats these moments. No amount of salary where I could buy any designer bags I want nor appraisal performance bonuses or recognitions from my bosses could pay the happYness and contentment at the thought that I am with my son on his biggest milestones in life
And that is just about every day in his small happy world.

CHILL mom!
December 6th, 2009
This happened last week.
While I was putting away DS’s old baby beddings for thrift store donation, he was busy playing in the tub.
DS: Mom, more boats!
ME: What’s the magic word? I won’t get them for you if you don’t say the magic word!
DS: HARRY POTTER!
ME: Wahehehe, alright, 2 boats coming your way.
This one happened twice, last week and today.
When he sees me almost freaking out with his mess (as in terrible mess!), he would start running away and with matching big laughter. But this time, he reacted differently.
DS: Nyaaa big mess mom!
ME: Yes, it’s okay as long as you help me pack away later.
DS: Not again!
ME: Di ba sabi ni mommy, ayaw na nya marinig ang ‘not again’ na yan!
DS: CHILL MOM, CHILL!
Blame it on Drake and Josh!

errands day
November 26th, 2009
Today, I was out running errands left and right.
Basically, completing most of DS’s school registration requirements, which is due on Friday. We started off with his pediatrician visit for his complete Physical Examination and some paper works his Pedia needs to sign. Anyways, he also got his blood extraction today and as expected I wasn’t antsy at all because I know DS’ pain tolerance is quite high, he got that from me. His dad is the exact opposite, he may be very brave in almost everything except hospital needles lol!
The doctor who extracted his blood was so amazed by mini-S’ courage and gave him a set of Ironman stickers for being an IronBoy hee hee. Here’s sharing a couple of photos. He was wordless during the entire routine check-up

Captain America
November 22nd, 2009
I did not realize kids can have hilarious and amazing ambitions. We would often ask mini-Stripe what he wants to be when he grows up, you honestly do not know how to react with his answers. He would say, taxi driver, firefighter, cops, pilot, astronaut, army doctor, etc…But, when he was asked at his Gym Class, guess what his reply was:
“I want to be Captain America!!!”
When he did not get a response, he said:
“Okay, then Spiderman!”
Okay that’s all folks!
